If you are not a chaperone for BOA, but you would still like to go and support the band in Atlanta, please contact the hotel to make your own reservations. The band will be checking-in on Friday, Oct. 30, and checking out on Sunday, Nov. 1. Tickets for the competition can be purchased through Piedmont Band Boosters at a later time. Parents that are chaperoning the trip with the band already have their tickets and hotel accomadation taken care of. FYI, ticket prices are as follows:
Friday Prelims = $17.00
Saturday Prelims = $19.00
Saturday Finals = $23.00***
Super Ticket (Fri and Sat Prelims, and Finals) = $48.00

*** Please note, if Piedmont does not make Finals, we may not stay for Finals. The reasoning is, is because all chaperones will need to buy tickets AND students will need to buy tickets as well. At this time, we (directors and boosters) have not decided what we will do. We will make a decision concerning this at the next booster meeting on Monday, August 17 at 7pm in the high school band room.

As it currently stands, we have room for 45 approved chaperones to go with us to Atlanta for the BOA contest. The cost per chaperone will be $65.00.
Price includes:
Bus Transporation
Hotel for 2 nights (double room with another adult chaperone)
2 HOT Breakfast
Ticket into Georgia Dome
- 20 tickets are All-Day passes (prelims AND finals)
- 25 tickets are Field Passes/General Admin passes (prelims ONLY)
- If Piedmont makes it to finals, BOA will give us another 25 field passes for the original 25 field passes.
- If we don’t make it to finals, the $65 (chaperone cost) includes the purchase of the 25 finals tickets for the field pass ticket holders.
If we have more than 45 adults interested in going, we will accept as many as we can get on the bus. However, these chaperones will not have a ticket to BOA ($35.00 for prelims and finals). They will still need to pay the $65 like the other chaperones to cover the cost of transportation and hotel. “Bands of America” only provides so many tickets for each performing group.
