Meals
· Each person will receive a Dining Card that will have a $60 value. If you don’t over indulge, this should last you for about 5 meals while in the parks. It just all depends on what you order. Typically, a combo meal with a drink, sandwich, and side item will cost around $12.00. Once your card has a $0 balance, you will be responsible for buying the rest of your meals.
· Breakfast is available for all guests of the hotel each morning at no extra cost.
· If you get tired of always eating fast-food, and you actually want to sit down and eat, it is recommended to make a reservation. Go to www.allears.net and click “dining” on top of the page. Here you can research the different types of restaurants at all the parks, as well as the menu and the pricing. Please note that our meal cards are considered “disney group” meal cards, so restaurants that are not Disney owned will not accept our meal card, so you may have to pay out of pocket. We don’t want any surprises. Most of Downtown Disney restaurants are NOT owned by Disney.

What to take into the Parks
· If you want, use your carry-on bag as your bag for the parks. All guests can take a small size bag into the parks if they want. A backpack is recommended simply for the fact it frees up your hands.
· Take only what you absolutely need. Whatever you take in the morning, will feel a lot heavier by the evening.
· Suggested items (but not limited too) are lightweight jacket for cool mornings and evenings, sun screen, hat, bottle of water, flavored water packets (Florida water tastes icky), camera, and a few snacks. Disney will allow dry snacks from home, such as pretzels, cheez-its, etc. This will help you save some money too.
· Just remember that if you take a bag into the park, you will be responsible for everything the entire time. You will also have to carry your bag on all rides as well.
· It is NOT recommended for a bunch of people to share one bag, simply because of weight. Plus, if the bag is too big, it may become a safety issue on some rides.
· You may want to bring a couple of ziplock bags so your wallet, phone, and camera won’t get wet when you are on any water rides.
· Taking a bag with you into the parks is completely your decision.
· Disney will search your bag at the entrance of each park. Be prepared.
Hopping from Park to Park
· By Bus:
Most areas of Walt Disney World Resort are accessible by bus from other areas within the Resort, including Theme Parks, Water Parks, the Disney Resorts and the Downtown Disney® area. Buses travel on routes throughout the Resort and do not provide direct service between all destinations.
· By Boat:
The Disney ferryboats connect Magic Kingdom Park to the Transportation and Ticket Center (adjacent to Magic Kingdom parking).
· By Monorail:
Disney's monorail runs between Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Resort and the Transportation and Ticket Center (adjacent to the Magic Kingdom parking lot). A connecting monorail takes Guests from the Transportation and Ticket Center to Epcot.
Disney FASTPASS Information
Go to the FASTPASS ticket machine and insert your admission ticket. EACH PERSON NEEDS A FASTPASS TICKET! Out comes your FASTPASS indicating what time frame you may return to the attraction. You are given a time frame, or "window," and may return during that period. Note that for some attractions, like Honey I Shrunk the Audience (Epcot) and the Little Mermaid Show (Disney MGM-Studios), there is only a 10-15 minute window.
Once your FASTPASS time has arrived, return to the attraction and get in the line for FASTPASS holders (FASTPASS RETURN)! Be sure to have your ticket out and ready to show the Cast Member. Further along in the waiting area, a Cast Member will actually take your FASTPASS ticket.
